Jade Cargill Named Number One Contender For WWE Women’s Championship

Jade Cargill revealed that she is the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Championship during the August 29th episode of SmackDown.

Cargill met with Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton backstage, saying she was named the number one contender as a result of her pinfall victory over Nia Jax in tag team action last Friday.

Stratton said Cargill should thank her because she set up the victory.

The two went back and forth with Cargill saying they were on different levels and Stratton reminding Cargill that she is undefeated in 2025, including her victory over Cargill at WWE SummerSlam.
