Jacy Jayne Recalls Epiphany At WrestleMania 34 That Made Her Return To Wrestling Training
Jacy Jayne looks back on an epiphany she had while attending WrestleMania 34.
Jacy Jayne recalls having an epiphany that led to her returning to wrestling training.
Jayne is currently the NXT and TNA Knockouts champion after capturing the Knockouts title back at TNA Slammiversary, dethroning Masha Slamovich. However,
While speaking on Celtic Warrior Workouts with Sheamus, Jacy was asked about her wrestling fandom and when it began.
“I started watching wrestling when I was like six maybe? But I never thought like I could be a wrestler.”
Sheamus would then ask where Jacy trained, and how she became to be a full time pro wrestler after having an epiphany while attending WrestleMania 34.
“I moved down to Florida to become a wrestler. This little ad on Facebook popped up of a school like 20 minutes from me. I signed up and I went to school for like maybe a year and then I got hurt and then I was like ‘maybe this isn’t for me.’ So I stopped for like a year, and then I was sitting in the audience at WrestleMania as a fan in New Orleans, and I had like this epiphany. I was like, ‘I am not supposed to be sitting here as a fan. Like I’m supposed to be down there as a performer.’ So then I went back to Florida and I started training again that week and I never stopped.”
