After Shota was victorious in a multi-man bout at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo, a vignette aired highlighting “Scapegoat” Jack Perry.
Perry showed up at NJPW Battle in the Valley and attack Umino. He then ripped up his AEW contract and dubbed himself as the “scapegoat.”
