India Sioux Wins 2025 Women’s CMLL Universal Title Tournament

India Sioux won the 2025 Women’s Universal Championship Tournament, managing to submit Skadi at Arena Mexico.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre hosted a new episode of Viernes Espectacular on October 17. The show featured Skadi and India Sioux competing in the Finals of the 2025 Women’s Universal Championship.

After a hard-hitting affair, Sioux managed to outlast Skadi to win the match & the tournament. She managed this by locking in a modified Cloverleaf to pick up the win.

This is Sioux’s first tournament win of her career, including a 16-year absence from the company. Sioux is also the CMLL National Women’s Champion, holding that belt for over 225 days.
