Ian Riccaboni On AEW’s Inclusivity: I’ve Never Been More Confident I Picked The Right Team
Ian Riccaboni is proud to work for AEW.
When AEW began, it took pride in being a promotion for everyone. AEW was never shy about hiring members of the LGBTQ+ community on its roster, and talents are allowed to make statements on social issues that matter to them.
One such statement came on AEW Grand Slam: Mexico when Brody King wore a shirt that said “Abolish ICE.” Ian Riccaboni, a member of the broadcast team in All Elite Wrestling and its sister promotion, Ring of Honor, recently posted on Bluesky, expressing his pride in working for such an inclusive promotion. Excalibur and Aubrey Edwards also echoed his sentiments.
Catching up on Dynamite and between Hanger and Brody, unconditional support for our LGBTQIA+ wrestlers, staff, crew, and fans during Pride Month and every month, and celebrating Juneteenth, I’ve never been more confident I picked the right team to play for and I’m glad that they will have me.
