Hulk Hogan Died From Heart Attack, Was Diagnosed With Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan passed away on Thursday, July 24 at the age of 71.

According to the New York Post, records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center show Hogan died from an acute myocardial infarction, better known as a heart attack.

Per the medical records, Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat. Hogan was also diagnosed with a form of cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), though details surrounding the cancer are unclear.

Hogan was recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) prior to his passing.

WWE has paid tribute to on WWE SmackDown, WWE Raw, and WWE NXT episodes following his passing, holding a moment of silence and a ten-bell salute followed by a video package on each show.
