Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Def. El Mesías To Become AAA Latin American Champion At Triplemanía XXXIII
Dr. Wagner Jr.’s first AAA Title win.
The first championship match on the bill at AAA Triplemanía XXXIII was for the AAA Latin American Championship.
The bout saw El Mesías defending against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Mesías was accompanied to the ring by AAA Director Dorian Roldán, and Roldán constantly interfered in the bout.
Dr. Wagner, the father of the challenger, was ringside, and there came a point when he got into a heated argument with Mesías while Mesías was beating on his son. Dr. Wagner ended up getting physically involved and punched Dorian Roldán to the floor.
Dr. Wagner Jr. went on to capture the Latin American Championship, and it was his first title win in AAA. His father got into the ring to hand his son his signature mask and his newly won title.
