Gunther To Face John Cena In Cena’s Retirement Match At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Gunther will be John Cena’s final opponent on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Over the past few weeks, multiple WWE stars participated in the Last Time is Now Tournament to decide John Cena’s final opponent. LA Knight and Gunther made it to the finals and faced each other on this week’s SmackDown.
It was a close match for both stars, but in the end, Gunther got the victory with his submission move and made LA Knight tap out.

Gunther has now won the Last Time is Now tournament and will face John Cena on the next Saturday Night’s Main Event in Cena’s final wrestling match.
Just a few months ago, in July, The Ring General retired Goldberg in front of a hometown crowd in Atlanta at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The next SNME takes place on December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
