Gunther advances in The Last Time Is Now tournament.
On the November 24 episode of WWE Raw, Gunther and Carmelo Hayes faced off in a second round match in The Last Time Is Now tournament. This match was made after Gunther defeated Je’Von Evans and Carmelo Hayes defeated Bronson Reed in the first round of the tournament.
In the end, ‘The Ring General’ walked away with the win over ‘Him’. The final sequence of the bout featured Gunther dodging Hayes’ signature top rope leg drop. After clocking him with a mean lariat, Gunther eventually pinned Hayes after two powerbombs.

With the victory, ‘The Ring General’ will face the winner of a future second round match that will pit Solo Sikoa against Penta. The winner of that match will advance to the finals of the tournament. Fightful will continue to update fans on the progression of the tourney.
