Gisele Shaw became the first-ever MLP Women’s Champion at MLP Northern Rising, defeating Kylie Rae for the vacant title.
The finish saw Shaw strike Rae with a foreign object and then deliver a running knee strike for the win.

The finals were set up after Kylie defeated Zoe Sager at night one of MLP Mayhem and Taylor Rising on night two. On the other side of the bracket, Shaw defeated Laynie Luck on night one and Serena Deeb on night two.
