Frankie and AJ’s rivalry in TNA goes back several years with the pair facing on many occasions during their respective runs in the company. Now, in 2026, Kazarian remains steadfast in wanting one last match with Styles in a TNA ring.

While speaking to Rewind, Recap, Relive in a new interview, Frankie Kazarian spoke about potentially facing AJ one more time.

“Again, what I can say is AJ wants it, I want it, and I think it’s safe to say the fans want it. We really just need the stars to align, the right people to sign off on it, and for it to happen. I think it’s important that that match happens, certainly for myself, I think for AJ, and I think it’s important that it happens for TNA. Yeah, it’s certainly, it’s not for- it hasn’t happened yet, but that’s not for lack of trying, everybody wants the match to happen. We just need it to cut through a little bit of red tape and get the match in the ring, as they say.”

Earlier this month, Kazarian spoke about winning his first world title at 48. You can read more about that here.
