One of the matches on the bill for the September 3rd episode of WWE EVOLVE on Tubi is a singles bout between Ice Williams and Sean Legacy.
Williams was part of a batch of releases from the WWE I.D. program along with Jordan Oasis and Aaron Roberts.
Williams took to his social media pages to push out a promo video about his match with Legacy. He captioned the video, ‘It’s official. Here’s the inside scoop.’
He mentioned that people placed Legacy in the spot of being the marquee WWE I.D. prospect, but said Legacy can have that and the whole program. He said their match is about the future of the business, and that’s not determined by contracts.
Williams said Legacy will not be standing across the ring from the WWE ID-labeled version of himself, but he’ll be standing across the ring from ‘the coldest on the planet.’
