Former WWE Director Kerwin Silfies Passes Away

Former longtime WWE director Kerwin Silfies has passed away. He was 75.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider first reported the news, writing that Silfies had privately been dealing with health issues.
Silfies started with WWE in 1985 and was with the company until he was furloughed during the pandemic. He never returned to the company. He directed the first Saturday Night’s Main Event and first WWE show in Saudi Arabia and many more.
He is also credited with directing The Last Full Measure, a Stacy Keach-narrated documentary on The Battle of Gettysburg that was released in 2007.
He appeared in the Peacock documentary on WWE’s Wrestlemania IX.
