Since AAA was bought by WWE earlier this year, several WWE and NXT superstars have found themselves crossing over into the promotion, including Ethan Page, one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green. One AAA talent Page has had several clashes with is Mr Iguana.
While speaking in a fan Q and A recorded by Rock And Co, Page was asked if he felt like he was in a handicap match with Mr Iguana and his puppet Iguana.
“I think he could have brought another five puppets, and it still would have been a handicap match for him against me yeah I’m in a league of my own. He’s not even close to, like, sniffing in my stratosphere of talent, so yeah. I mean he enjoyed the spotlight. It was nice to have a guest from AAA, a company that I pretty much run now. So I think more so I’m happy for him. Good for Mr. Iguana. I did not enjoy my experience. Ruined all my gear with this face paint. It’s the worst.”
