At NXT New Year’s Evil, The Rock spoke with Ethan Page backstage and told him to come to him if he needed anything. He then said that he hoped he’d see him on the main roster. He also smacked Page’s butt and told him to get his “sweet ass on out of here.”
Ethan Page then took to Twitter/X to share his thoughts on The Rock’s comments.
“You know, Shawn Michaels? Not a fan. Triple H, not a fan. Nick Khan, I’m assuming [he’s] not a fan. The Final Boss seems to get what I got going on. Hell, he even said I had a sweet ass. I guess we could say that The Final Boss smells what Ethan Page is cooking,” Page said.

Ethan Page has been feuding with Je’Von Evans in recent weeks. He also attacked Cedric Alexander on the December 31st episode of WWE NXT.
