El Grande Americano Wins WWE Speed Championship
El Grande Americano has captured the WWE Speed Championship.
El Grande Americano (who is definitely not Chad Gable) won the WWE Speed Championship on the May 7th airing by defeating Dragon Lee.
Americano won with the diving heatbutt after loading his mask with the steel plate. The match had a five-minute time limit.

This marks the first reign as WWE Speed Champion for Americano. Lee held the title for 171 days and made two successful title defenses.
