El Desperado Announces He’ll Be Teaming With KUUKAI In NJPW Super Junior Tag League Tournament

First entrants into the tournament.

Coming off the heels of NJPW Destruction in Kobe, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion El Desperado stated in his backstage comments that he’ll be a part of Super Junior Tag League.

Desperado revealed that his partner will be KUUKAI. KUUKAI is a graduate of Michinoku Pro Wrestling, and he went on excursion to Mexico in 2022.

The 2025 Super Junior Tag League starts on October 23rd and will wrap on November 2nd. The winners of the tournament will go on to challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 20.

The reigning Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions are HOUSE OF TORTURE’s SHO and DOUKI.
