Here’s what’s coming to WWE SmackDown next week.

The final SmackDown of 2025 has finished airing. This episode was taped on December 19 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, alongside this week’s Raw.

Next week’s SmackDown, scheduled for January 2, 2026, will be live, and WWE has announced several segments and matches for the event.

Lineup for SmackDown (1/2):

• 8 Woman Tag Team Match: Alexa Bliss, Charlotte, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky vs. Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, and Kairi Sane.
• Jade Cargill vs. Michin (if Michin wins, she receives a title shot)
• Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black

It should be noted that starting next week, SmackDown returns to being a 3-hour show.
