Two new names have been confirmed for the 2025 G1 Climax.
Earlier this month it was announced that several names would feature in G1 Climax 35 play-in qualifier bouts, including the likes of Tomohiro Ishii and Drilla Maloney. Now, we know two names that have qualified for the tournament.
On June 23rd during NJPW’s Soul tour, two new names earned their spot in the tournament, as Callum Newman would defeat Taichi to qualify for Block A, while Drilla Maloney would defeat Tomohiro Ishii to qualify for Block B.

The 2025 G1 Climax begins on July 19 and runs through August 17.
