Drew McIntyre: I Prayed For This And It Happened

Drew McIntyre quotes one of his promos in the wake of winning the WWE Undisputed Championship on WWE SmackDown.

On the January 9th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Berlin, Germany, McIntyre would challenge Cody Rhodes in a 3 Stages Of Hell match with the two men each winning a fall as they headed into the final fall, which was a Steel Cage match. As the match began to reach it’s conclusion, Jacob Fatu would emerge and attacked both men, leading to McIntyre sneaking out of the cage and becoming the new WWE Undisputed Champion.

In a new social media post the morning after his victory, Drew would post a tweet quoting one of his previous promos, posing in bed with the WWE Championship he finally captured from Rhodes on WWE SmackDown.

In the immediate aftermath of his championship victory, McIntyre would reference a previous tweet that he made mid match, as he declared that he is no longer bored at work. You can read more about that here.
