Drew McIntyre Cast In ‘Highlander’
Drew McIntyre has joined the cast of Highlander.
Deadline reports McIntyre will star opposite Henry Cavill as his character MacLeod’s brother, Angus MacLeod.
Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Max Zhang, and Dave Bautista. The film is being directed by Chad Stahelski.
The film was in pre-production earlier this month before everything was halted when Cavill was injured during training. Production is expected to begin in early 2026.
An immortal Scottish swordsman faces off with other immortal warriors in order to obtain a coveted ability.
McIntyre was previously featured in “The Killer’s Game,” which also starred Bautista.
Drew McIntyre is currently part of WWE SmackDown. He challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza.
