DOUKI Wins IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title At NJPW Road To King of Pro-Wrestling

DOUKI regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title at the October 6th NJPW Road To King Of Pro-Wrestling event, defeating El Desperado in the main event.

The finish saw referee Red Shoes stop the match as DOUKI choked Desperado unconscious.

Prior to the end, Desperado was hit with a wrench and sheet pan after interfered from SHO, who was previously kicked out of the ringside area.

This marks the second reign as IWGPJunior Champion for DOUKI. He is also one-half of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions alongside SHO.

Desperado’s title reign ends at 275 days. He made eight successful title defenses. He won the title from DOUKI at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 in a bout that was stopped early due to an injury suffered by DOUKI.
