Don Gato Will Be At MLW Fightland 2025

The “legendary Luchador” and face of Don Gato Tequila, Don Gato, will be in attendance at MLW Fightland 2025.

At MLW Blood & Thunder, Danny McBride shared the origins of Don Gato, a tequila connoisseur, wrestling hero, and all-around cool cat. Now, Major League Wrestling has announced that Gato will be in attendance when MLW comes to Texas for MLW Fightland.

Major League Wrestling (“MLW”) today announced Don Gato will be in la casa at MLW FIGHTLAND, presented on YouTube free from the NYTEX Sports Centre, in North Richland Hills, Texas on Saturday, September 13.

The wait is over. The legend is real. Don Gato will make his long-anticipated arrival at FIGHTLAND on Saturday, September 13 at the NYTEX Sports Centre, airing live and free worldwide at 10pm ET on YouTube.

Weeks ago, MLW President Cesar Duran and his daughter Salina de la Renta received a cryptic invitation from Don Gato himself. Now, the world wonders: what does it mean when the masked maestro of agave steps foot inside Major League Wrestling?

Born from ancient traditions and raised among volcanic soil and sacred agave fields, Don Gato is more than a fighter. He is myth and man, artisan and warrior — a guardian of secrets and a living embodiment of the feline spirit. From hand-crafting the finest tequila in the world to conquering every arena he has entered, Don Gato’s legend precedes him. His tequila bears his code: “Made good. For cool times.”

Those who know, know. Among them are actor Danny McBride and his buddy Steve, who’ve long followed and chronicled Don Gato’s tequila-fueled exploits. Their stories have only added to the mystique of the masked cat.
