Don Callis Accepts Fightful Awards For Best Manager And Best Stable, ‘I’m Probably Going To Takeover AEW From Tony Khan’
Don Callis has won the 2025 Fightful Award for the Manager of the Year, and the Don Callis Family has won the award for Best Stable of the Year.
Appearing on the Fightful Awards, Don Callis said, “The Family has grown a lot. Tony Khan has been someone who I think has loved seeing me slowly expand this thing to the point that I’m probably going to takeover his company for him. I like to look at quality athletes. If you look at Takeshita, who is in on the ground floor. Day one Don Callis Family guy after we got rid of Kenny Omega. Look at Kyle Fletcher. Look at what we’ve been able to do with Okada. It’s his greatest year since he’s been in AEW. It’s been with you. Look at Davis and Doyle, who are going to be making a lot of waves in the tag team division. I think we’re up to 15 full patch members right now. There is a back office, who are not wrestlers, who help and support the functions of the Don Callis Family. It’s been a great year and we appreciate all the kind words that we read about ourselves on Fightful. We really enjoy these awards. Many awards this year, but this is the only one that will go in the Don Callis Family compound in Western Mexico.”
