Dominik Mysterio Has Ideas For New Gear, Doesn’t Know When It’ll Debut

Dominik Mysterio discusses the future of his ring gear.

Fans first met Dominik Mysterio before he was even 10 years old. Twenty years later, he has become a successful WWE Superstar on his own, and he’s no longer living in the shadow of his father, Rey Mysterio. Still, his issues with his father aside, Dominik likes to pay tribute to legends of Lucha Libre with his ring gear.

During a recent WWE digital video, where he discussed his various looks, Dominik Mysterio stated that he will continue to wear the gear he has been wearing for a bit longer. Still, he already has sketches for what the next evolution will be.

“As far as like, to where I am now. This is as ‘Dirty Dom’ as it gets,” he said of his WrestleMania 41 gear. “I’ve had someone draw it out for me, like the next evolution of what I want my gear to look like, and change it up a little bit, because I’ve always got to keep people on their toes. But I can’t tell you guys. All I can say is keep an eye out. There might be some stuff here and there. I’m gonna rock the Parka and the OG Dom stuff for a little bit more, but I got some stuff in the works that’s super cool.”

Domnik Mysterio will next defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at WWE SummerSlam. WWE is currently hosting a vote where fans can choose the gear that Mysterio will wear at that event. Learn more here.
