Details On Street Fighter Movie Filming And How It Affects WWE

Street Fighter has several big wrestling stars, but likely won’t interfere heavily in storylines.

With Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and possibly Hirooki Goto slated for Street Fighter, many have wondered when it films and what kind of schedule will be required. Sources that Fightful spoke with claimed that the movie films in September.

When we asked about whether or not it would interfere with storylines, WWE sources said that they were optimistic that it wouldn’t. Cody Rhodes is not expected to be on set for an extended period of time. Even before Summerslam, we were told that it wouldn’t affect the possibility of Cody Rhodes winning the WWE Title. We’ve not heard regarding Roman Reigns.

Rhodes did end up winning the WWE Title from John Cena at Summerslam. Both Rhodes and Reigns had appearances in movies this summer, with Rhodes in the new Naked Gun film, and Reigns appearing in The Pickup in a scene with Keke Palmer.
