Deonna Purrazzo Def. Billie Starkz To Become First-Ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion At ROH Final Battle

The first-ever Women’s Pure Champion.
Kicking off the main card of Ring of Honor’s Final Battle pay-per-view was the finals of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament.
Deonna Purrazzo and Billie Starkz met in the final, and the backend of the bout saw Purrazzo counter Starkz’s senton into a pin. Purrazzo quickly transitioned into her Venus de Milo submission.
While locking Starkz in the submission, Purrrazzo began kneeing her opponent in the head and then proceeded to hook the submission in deeper, which made Starkz give up.
Purrazzo is now the ROH Women’s Pure Champion, and as she was making her way up the entrance way, she was confronted by Queen Aminata, who had to withdraw from her semifinal match against Purrazzo due to injury. Aminata shook the champion’s hand and said she wanted next.
In addition to being Women’s Pure Champion, Purrazzo’s résumé in Ring of Honor includes being ROH Women’s World Champion.
