Dax Harwood Recalls Bryan Danielson Working Through Fever For Their AEW Dynamite Match

Dax Harwood and Bryan Danielson have faced each other quite a few times in multi-person matches, but their lone singles match was on November 30, 2022. Three years to the date, Harwood was reminded about that match on social media. Not that it’s a match he’ll ever forget, but one half of the AEW Tag Team Champions shared a story on what Danielson was going through that day leading up to their match.

“One of my favorite matches,” Harwood said. “Bryan got to the building with a 103* fever and still wanted to have the match because he knew it was important to me.”

This wasn’t a typical fever, but Danielson once again proved why he’s one of the best to ever do it. No one would have known Danielson was going through that had Harwood not shared such information. Not only does it prove how great of a wrestler Danielson is, but it shows he’s a stand-up guy as he knew the match was a big one for Harwood’s career.

That match was the first time the two ever touched, but they would later face each other in numerous circumstances. One of the most notable was their Fight Without Honor at ROH Final Battle 2023. Once they put their differences aside, they teamed in a few major matches, including the 2024 Anarchy In The Arena match.
