Headlining AEW’s 2025 WrestleDream pay-per-view was the I Quit match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin. There was a point during the bout when Moxley put Allin’s face in a fish tank, but Darby refused to quit.

The backend of the match saw the return of ‘The Icon’ Sting. He fought off members of the Death Riders and then handed his bat to his former partner, Darby.

As Sting was leaving ringside, he was confronted by Marina Shafir. Shafir took a swing at him, but Sting ducked it and carried her to the back.

After taking the bat to Moxley’s body, Allin put him in the Scorpion Deathlock, and that made Moxley utter the words I quit.
