Dana White is looking to recruit more indie wrestlers.
Since debuting in 2023, Power Slap has continued to evolve in the world of sports, coming up with a number of ways to bring in new competitors.
In April 2025, the promotion hosted a two-day combine event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A month later, Fightful Select reported on a number of indie performers being set for Power Slap tapings, including names like ‘HollyHood’ Haley J and Stunt Marshall.
Speaking with the Cutler Cast for a new interview, White criticized indie wrestlers for doing high-risk spots for such low money, saying that they can come into Power Slap instead.
“There is a bunch of people out there that want to get into the AEW or WWE, right? These guys will fucking jump off a ladder onto a table full of tacks for $50 a night. You can come into Power Slap and make a shit load of money. These guys are all tough guys, big guys so we’re looking at these guys that wanted to be professional wrestlers and a lot of other athletes around the world to come into Power Slap.”
Dana White recently shut down the idea of Jon Jones competing at the UFC’s White House show in 2026. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
