Cope Returns At AEW All In, Saves Christian Cage After Betrayal By Nick Wayne

Cope (Adam Copeland) made his return to AEW at AEW All In, making the save for his longtime friend and part-time enemy Christian Cage.

After Christian & Nick Wayne failed to capture the AEW Tag Team Titles, they were confronted by FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway, who were on commentary for the match.

Christian went to leave, but Nick betrayed his “father,” hitting the Killswitch. Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne looked on in approval. Nick went to connect with the conchairto on Christian, but he was stopped in his tracks when “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge hit.

Cope, carrying Spike, made his way to the ring and took out FTR with a double spear before running off Nick and blasting Sabian with a spear.

Cope grabbed the mic as Christian stood up. Cope told Christian to “Go Find Yourself,” a callback to the “Go Fuck Yourself” moment between the two in October 2023.

This was Cope’s first appearance since AEW Dynasty when he was stretchered out of the building following an attack by FTR.
