Colby Corino On 2021 Match With Steve Corino: We Worked So Hard On It, It Turned Out So Well

In August 2021, Colby Corino faced off with his dad, Steve Corino, in a match for his Premier Wrestling Federation promotion in North Carolina.

The match, which went nearly 35 minutes, was well recieved by basically the entire world of professional wrestling. Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Corino said that people still come up to him about the match to this day.

“It’s crazy because there’s probably only like 200 people there in attendance at night and we really gave it all are all going into it. But then even years later now, I’m sitting at WrestleCade earlier this year and people come up to me and be like, ‘Man, that match between you and your dad, I watched it.’ So many people have told me they’ve watched that match and I’m so glad that it got so much attention because we worked so hard on it and it turned out so well. The only thing wrong with it that I feel like I wish we did it for a bigger audience.”
