Cody Rhodes ‘Really Just Trying To Enjoy’ Second Undisputed WWE Title Reign
Rhodes states that it is a good season in his life.
WWE and ESPN are on a media push to promote the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event on September 20th. It’ll be the first WWE PLE to air on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer service as a part of their five-year deal.
Talents have been appearing on ESPN programming throughout the week, and one of the names to do so was Cody Rhodes. He joined ‘Get Up’ and was asked for his thoughts about his second reign as Undisputed WWE Champion.
“I think this time around, I’m really just trying to enjoy it… And no matter how you look at our industry, the suspension of disbelief, I spent my whole career chasing this one and to get it the first time, it just felt like such pressure was on. Now, it’s just a good season of my life. Just had baby girl number two, the title in hand. I just wanna enjoy it. Just have a good time. Let’s just all have a good time.”
Rhodes’ next defense of the title will be at Wrestlepalooza. He’ll be putting the championship on the line against Drew McIntyre.
