Cody Rhodes On Potential Double Turn With John Cena: It Would Be Detrimental To The Place I Work To Make A Pivot

John Cena flushed his reputation down the toilet five months ago when he turned heel on Cody Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Cena seemingly reverted back to babyface on WWE SmackDown, thanking Cody for helping him remember who he was.
Speaking to Gabby LaSpisa on Gabby AF in an interview recorded before WWE SmackDown, Cody was asked about the potential of a WWE turn.
“People talk about, ‘Oh, I bet they’re going to do this double turn.’ No. I think, to take a page out of [Cena’s] book, if they think I’m a heel, then I’m a heel. To me, I’m not changing my game. It would be detrimental to the place I work to make a pivot. No more Kingdom, no more promos, no more merch. Real bad guy stuff. However, I have ears open, and I’m well aware that sometimes it’s not your night,” said Rhodes.
While making the media rounds, Rhodes stated he would never turn heel. You can find his comments here.
Rhodes will challenge Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a street fight at WWE SummerSlam.
