Cody Rhodes Tops PWI 500 For Second Straight Year

Cody Rhodes has gone back-to-back.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated revealed that Cody Rhodes topped the PWI 500 for a second straight year. He is just the fourth wrestler to top the list in back-to-back years, joining Bret Hart, Steve Austin, and John Cena.
The evaluation period for this year’s PWI 500 is August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025. The criteria for ranking includes win-loss record, technical ability, influence on the sport, success against the highest grade of competition, success against the most diverse competition, and activity.
During that time, Rhodes held the Undisputed WWE Championship, won the Crown Jewel Championship, and scored victories over Kevin Owens, Gunther, and Solo Sikoa. He headlined multiple WWE events, including WrestleMania 41.
Jon Moxley was second in the PWI 500 followed by Gunther, Hangman Page, and Hirooki Goto to round out the top five.
