CM Punk Recounts Being Surprised When He Got Call For Zootopia 2: “There’s A Bit Of Imposter Syndrome”
Punk was feeling some imposter syndrome.
The ‘Zootopia 2’ animated film hit theaters in the USA in late November 2025. Among the cast members are WWE’s Roman Reigns and CM Punk, who are voicing Zebro Zebraxton and Zebro Zebrowski, respectively.
Punk opened up on Busted Open about getting the call for the Disney project and being surprised when he was asked.
“I find myself in these situations all the time where I’m just looking around like, ‘Me?’ When I got the call for Zootopia 2, I was like, ‘Huh? What? Disney specifically wants me? Okay,’ and there’s a bit of imposter syndrome because I wanna be like, okay, who said no? Who are the first 13 people that said no to this? But, sometimes you just gotta realize, like, no, no, you’re good at what you do, and people wanna work with you.”
Punk is also starring in the horror film ‘Night Patrol,’ which will hit theaters on January 16th.
