CM Punk spoke about how he thinks people in Scotland would react to Drew McIntyre possibly being on WWE 2K26’s cover.
Since his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, Punk and Drew McIntyre have been at each other’s throats as part of a vicious rivalry that ended inside Hell In A Cell.
While speaking to talkSPORT in a new interview, CM Punk was asked about Drew McIntyre’s recent comments where he called him a junkie.
“You know, it’s what everybody does. They gotta talk about the cover athlete. They gotta talk about the champ to stay relevant, to say anything interesting. I mean, has Drew ever been on the cover? Okay, so maybe there’s a little bit of jealousy, there’s a little bit of envy there, you know? I don’t know what else to say beyond that. If Drew was on the cover, we could do the 15 staples on the top of his head that I put in his head in Hell in a Cell. Maybe that’ll sell covers? I don’t know. I don’t even think people in Scotland would buy it if Drew was on the cover. You know, he’s a Rangers fan.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, AJ Styles spoke about how he feels about he and Punk’s tension over the years. You can read more about that here.
