CM Punk Explains His Love For Villains, ‘Villains Get To Do The Fun Stuff’

CM Punk comments on his love for villains.

Throughout his career, Punk has masterfully portrayed his roles as a babyface and a heel. Since returning to wrestling in 2021, the ‘Best In The World’ has primarily been a babyface. In his new ‘Night Patrol’ film, Punk will get to show off his bad guy chops once again.

Speaking with ComicBookMovie.com for a new interview, Punk spoke about his love for villains.

“It’s one of those where you’re looking around like, I would do this for free but they’re paying me. It’s a lot of fun. There’s something about villains that I think are — Villains are often times, for lack of a better word, sexier than the good guys. Villains get to do fun stuff. Villains got the better weapons, the better outfits. You know, Cobra is cooler than GI Joe. But, this movie really kind of turns that on its side and explores it, like who really are the villains here.”
