CM Punk Responds To ‘Stupid Giants Fans’ That Are Criticizing Cam Skattebo For WWE Raw Appearance: Do You Want To Alienate Him Anymore So He Doesn’t Want To Play For Your Shitty Franchise?
CM Punk trashes Giants fans.
On the November 17 episode of WWE Raw, New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo appeared on WWE Raw alongside other Giants players. Skattebo, who is out for the season with a leg injury, got in a brief altercation with The Judgment Day. This led to some fan outrage online, with some arguing that the 23-year-old should be focusing on rehab.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Yak, CM Punk defended Skattebo, accusing Giants fans of alienating Skattebo for no good reason.
“I think those are just stupid Giants fans. Like, do you wanna alienate him anymore so he doesn’t wanna play for your shitty franchise? I don’t know the politics of Giants and their fans, but it seems ridiculous to me.”
Punk went on to remind everyone that celebrities and sports names have been intermingling for quite some time.
“Celebrities and sports stars have been intermingling with pro wrestling since the beginning of time. What are you upset about? He’s out with a broken leg, he broke his leg for you playing for your football Giants and now you’re going to try and be upset at him? For what, I don’t understand.”
