Chuck Taylor Undergoes Successful Neck Surgery

In a post on Instagram, Chuck Taylor revealed he recently underwent neck surgery. Chuckie T has been retired since April 25, 2024, as he continues to get back in the best shape possible.

Taylor’s post had a simple caption, “Got my neck cut off,” as he shared seven photos showing off his wounds. Thankfully, one of them was a happy picture as he was in a neck brace with his dog.

After his Parking Lot Fight with Trent, news quickly broke that would likely be the final of Taylor’s career. He went out with a bang in a match he and his former Best Friend put on the map.

Taylor was a Day 1 guy in AEW after working his way through the independent scene. He won numerous titles across the world, but was most notably PWG World Champion back in 2017-18.

From everyone here at Fightful, we wish Taylor a speedy recovery. For what it’s worth, he told Renee Paquette there’s a chance he could return after surgery. Keep in mind, that interview was a year and a half ago.
