Chris Bey Reflects On TNA Wrestling’s Growth: ‘I Helped Build That’

Chris Bey discusses how TNA Wrestling has grown since he first joined the company six years ago.

Chris Bey is one of the young wrestlers who has helped TNA reach new levels of success in recent years. Although he is currently unable to compete due to a neck injury, he still takes great pride in being a TNA Wrestling Superstar. Now, he’s discussing the company’s growth during his tenure on the roster.

Speaking with Fightful’s Kate Elizabeth at WrestleCon in August 2025, Chris Bey mentioned that one of his goals when he first joined the roster was to help the rest of the world see how special the TNA brand still was. Now, he’s proud of what is unfolding before his eyes and says that even though he can’t be there physically, he’s always there spiritually because he was part of building what TNA has today.

“When I first joined TNA six years ago, my plan was to help the world see how great TNA was because TNA’s roster has been incredible for as long as I can remember. But there was a period of time where it wasn’t getting the respect that it deserves. There wasn’t enough fan support showing up in the buildings. But now we’re at a point where we’re selling out shows, getting our biggest attendance gates. I’m so proud. I feel like I was a part of building that. So even though I’m not there physically, I know I’m there spiritually because I feel like I was a part of building that. It’s amazing to see. I’m so happy of our team.”

Fightful continues to wish Chris Bey the best in his recovery. For those still looking for ways to support him in his recovery, click here.
