Chelsea Green: My Dream Was To Beat Up Nikki Bella. Now, Look At Me
Nikki Bella had her first singles match since 2018 on the July 14th episode of WWE Raw, taking on Chelsea Green in a singles match.
Green has often stated her admiration for Nikki and the Divas era, and speaking to Jan Murphy and Rob Wong of the Toronto Sun, Green was asked about working with Nikki.
“One thing about Nikki is she is the most down to earth woman you will ever meet. I don’t think Nikki Bella has ever met a stranger. She is so kind, so personable and friendly. She changes in the locker room with the girls, which she doesn’t have to do. She’s been doing this long enough. She deserves her own tour bus and locker room, but she comes and chills with the girls. She’s just one of us. That makes a huge difference when you then step into the ring with somebody because now you have a relationship with them and have chemistry already. You trust each other. At the end of the day, this was my dream, to beat the (shit) out of Nikki Bella. Now, look at me. From watching her on Total Divas to being in the ring with her and hitting her with certain moves. I didn’t think that would ever be a possibility, and now to be able to do that every week, sometimes twice a week, is amazing. I just want to continue beating her up until she retires,” said Chelsea.
Chelsea has gotten help from Piper Niven & Alba Fyre while Stephanie Vaquer has been helping Nikki in the rivalry.
