Charlotte Flair Reflects On Women’s WarGames Match At WWE Survivor Series, Discusses Her History With The Participants

Flair reflects on WarGames.
The 39th annual WWE Survivor Series emanated from Petco Park in San Diego, California. Kicking off the P.L.E. was the women’s WarGames match.
The final result of it saw the team of Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee defeat Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Becky Lynch.
After the bout, Charlotte Flair joined the Survivor Series: WarGames Recap podcast. She reflected on participating in the match and discussed her history with some of the participants.
“Starting with Asuka, she really is one of my wrestling soulmates. Having the moment with Becky (Lynch) and The Four Horsewomen, here we are 10 years later, still going at it. IYO (SKY), I was against IYO in my first WarGames in 2023 before I got hurt against Damage CTRL. So to now be on the same side as her, and then, I had this little proud moment watching Rhea (Ripley) come out because I was like, we’ve had two WrestleManias against each other, multiple matches, multiple pay-per-views and then just seeing the megastar that she has turned into, it’s like, I got to see all that firsthand, and I was very proud, and then, to be on the same side as her too because we’ve been against each other for so long but, I have history with almost every single girl out there except for A.J. (Lee), but I kind of feel connected to A.J. because I was the last and final Divas Champion. So you had A.J. and then Nikki (Bella) was the longest so I feel like a part of that history and then to be in the ring with her, really a full circle moment if people think about it because we were two Divas Champions… I could go on and on but those are just, I think, the highlights.”
Up until the November 10th edition of Monday Night Raw, Flair and Alexa Bliss had been in possession of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. They lost the belts to The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).
