Charlie (Dakota Kai) Comments On In-Ring Return: “This Opportunity, It’s Reigniting My Passion”

Charlie is getting her passion back.
Pro-Wrestling: EVE is on the road to their Wrestle Queendom 8 show on March 8th from the indigo at The O2 in London, England.
One of the matches scheduled for the show is AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander defending the EVE International Championship against Charlie a.k.a. Dakota Kai. It’ll be Charlie’s first match since her release from WWE in May 2025.
Ahead of the match, EVE pushed out a vignette from Charlie, and she spoke about how the upcoming opportunity is reigniting her passion.
“This past year’s been tough. I’ve had so much doubt about my place in wrestling but this opportunity, it’s reigniting my passion and I’m more certain than ever. Sunday, March 8th at the indigo O2, I’m in charge of my own story, and my opponent, someone I’ve watched for years and has consistently blown me away. Kris (Statlander), you’re impressive, strong and one hell of a champion. But you’re in my crosshairs now. I’ll see you soon, Pro-Wrestling: EVE.”
