Callum Newman Says New NJPW Contract Is ‘Signed And Sealed’
Callum Newman is sticking with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
In a backstage promo, Newman stated that he was the only foreigner under a multi-year deal. He later tweeted, “signed and sealed.”

In his promo, Newman said, “It’s all jealousy, that’s all it is. Everything’s based on jealousy in this f***ing company. I’m the only foreigner, as far as I’m aware, in this company who’s got a multi-year deal to one of the biggest f***ing companies in the world. I’m only 23. Do you know what that means? I’m one of the f***ing best in the world. I’m better than Jay [White]. I’m better than Kenny [Omega]. I’m better than [Will] Ospreay.”
Callum Newman is currently acting as the leader of United Empire. Will Ospreay returned to NJPW at New Year Dash!! and stated he would return to NJPW when he’s healthy. Newman teased hitting Ospreay with a chair, but he was prevented by Great-O-Khan and HENARE.
