Bully Ray Says TNA Was Right Place For Final Match With Hardys: We’re Doing It Our Way

More than twenty years after revolutionizing tag team wrestling in WWE, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will face Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley in one final Tables Match at TNA Bound for Glory 2025 on October 12. The match will be for the WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Championships. However, the match is really about leaving a final mark on their legacies and writing an official ending to D-Von’s wrestling career.

Speaking about the match with Chris Jericho on Talk is Jericho, Bubba Ray Dudley, aka Bully Ray, says he’s glad the match is happening in TNA because he knows they will have the freedom to craft the ending they want without other opinions interfering with the creative process.

“This was the wrestling Gods smiling down upon us and lining this up perfectly. It just had to be done, and I’m happy it’s being done in a TNA ring. Because basically, we’re going to be able to do it our way, the way it should be done. We’ll be able to close this chapter, if not close the entire book on the Hardys and the Dudleys, the way we want to, without anybody else getting in our way or time limits or other opinions, because nobody created the magic that we created, except for the four of us.”

The Hardy Boyz have said that this will be the final deletion of Bubba and D-Von.
