Bryan Danielson Won’t Commit To Another Match, Wants To Do Hammerlocks For 45 Minutes
Bryan Danielson wants to throw Hammerlocks for 45 minutes when AEW returns to Australia in 2026.
Bryan Danielson, former WWE and AEW World Champion, recently concluded his full-time wrestling career at AEW’s WrestleDream 2024. His career came to an end against Jon Moxley in a match where MOX defeated him for the AEW World Title. He would finally get a measure of revenge against Jon Moxley by attacking Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders at AEW All In: Texas during the match where Moxley lost the title to Hangman Page.
The Kairouz Bros asked Bryan Danielson if he would be interested in wrestling MOX or Death Riders in Australia when AEW comes to the continent in 2026. Danielson said he’s not sure about having a match, but will throw Hammerlocks for 45 minutes.
“I don’t know. I’d really like to get out there and do some Hammerlocks. I’m not sure that’s what Australia wants to see: 45 minutes of Bryan Danielson doing Hammerlocks.”
It was recently announced that, beginning September 10, Danielson will join the AEW Dynamite commentary team on a full-time basis. Fans can read Tony Khan’s comments on that here.
