Since debuting with the promotion in 2021 at AEW All Out, Danielson has been an active competitor up until his retirement from the ring last year after losing the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream. Prior to that, Danielson had from time to time found himself in the announcer’s booth, and recently was also a guest commentator for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, although he did recuse himself prior to the main event bout involving the Deathriders.
In a new social media post on Saturday afternoon, AEW president Tony Khan would announce that beginning on this coming week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson will be joining the announce desk full time.
