Bryan Danielson Says Watching DEAN~!!! 2 Made Him Want To Return To Wrestling, ‘What Do I Have To Do To Face Mad Dog Connelly?’

Bryan Danielson finished up his full-time in-ring career at AEW WrestleDream 2024 when he lost the AEW World Title to Jon Moxley.

Danielson has remained around AEW, including at the second DEAN~!!! event on May 24th.

“There was a show we did before Double or Nothing, DEAN~!!! in tribute to Dean Rasmussen, a huge wrestling fan who wrote about wrestling on the Death Valley Driver website. I watched that show, I was there live watching it. Not much has made me want to come back to wrestling because I was in so much pain the last six months of my in-ring career, but I was there at that show and was like, ‘I kinda want to come back.’ [Laughs]. What do I have to do to wrestle Mad Dog Connelly in a chain match?” Danielson wondered while speaking to Wrestle Radio Australia.

Danielson is now a full-time commentator on AEW Dynamite.
