Bryan Danielson: Mercedes Mone In 2025 Is Better Than Ultimo Dragon In 1996
Bryan Danielson heaps praise on Mercedes Mone.
During the Zero Hour before AEW All Out: Toronto, RJ City wondered whether Mercedes Mone was more concerned about holding multiple titles at once than Ultimo Dragon was about keeping her titles. Danielson would defend Mercedes, saying that he believes that she is, in 2025, better than Ultimo Dragon was in 1996 when he held all those titles simultaneously.
Fletcher, to Danielson, wrestles very smartly. As such, Danielson believes that Fletcher will not burn himself out, unlike many young wrestlers with potential who have in the past.
“So you’re saying, in comparison, Mercedes is not as good as Ultimo Dragon was in 1996? I actually think in comparison to the wrestling landscape. Mercedes Mone in 2025 is better than Ultimate Dragon in 1996.”
Mercedes Mone would retain the AEW TBS Title at AEW All Out in a competitive match against Riho.
